YES.

If you want to make changes to your current benefits, you need to take action.

Are You Eligible?

If you are determined to be eligible for benefits as a result of the City's look-back period, you will be sent a letter in the mail.

How Eligibility Is Measured
In order to be eligible for medical coverage from the City in 2018, you must have worked an average of 30 or more hours per week over the 12-month period of time which is considered the “look-back period” for determining eligibility.

The look-back period to determine benefits eligibility for January 1, 2018, was from October 3, 2016, through October 2, 2017.

If you worked an average of 30 hours or more per week during this look-back period, you are eligible for a medical plan through the City beginning January 1, 2018, and will be eligible for the entire calendar year. The look-back period is conducted each year to determine your on-going eligibility.
