  • Eligibility

To be eligible for medical coverage, you must have worked an average of 30 or more hours per week over the 12-month “look-back period." For the 2018 benefit year, the look-back period was October 3, 2016, through October 2, 2017.

If you worked an average of 30 hours or more per week during the look-back period, you are eligible for a medical plan through the City beginning January 1, 2018, and will be eligible for the entire calendar year. The look-back period is conducted each year to determine your on-going eligibility.
